Objective:To analyze the influence between the anteversion angle、abduction angle of the fourth generation of ceramic acetabular cup and the hip Stability by the finite element analysis, and it can provide the appropriate theoretical reference to the clinical replacement surgery of the hip. Methods:We construct 3-D FE models based on the human data that had been collected by the spiral CT. We scan the images of the fourth generation artificial ceramic hip prosthesis provided by LINK and create the solid model. These two models were meshed and assembled to establish the three-dimensional finite element model with the applied load. We can analysis the stress distribution under the different combinations of angles. By the optimal design based on the response surface model, we find the best angle. Results:The mises validation tested by using finite element analysis is the smallest which is the combination of anteversion and abduction angles based on the response surface model. It’s 16.88°-47.64°Conclusion:THA is the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis of the hip, femoral head necrosis, elderly patients with femoral neck fractures and other diseases. The major postoperative complications is infection, dislocation, wear and loosening. The accuracy placement of the acetabular prosthesis is very important for the stability of the joints. Keeping anteversion 16.88°, abduction angle 47.64°, it can reduce the risk of hip dislocation significantly.
