Objective: To study the impact of diabetes education indicators of physiological parameters body mass index, waist circumference, blood pressure and glycemic index fasting plasma glucose, oral glucose tolerance test 2 hours plasma glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin and outcomes in patients with pre-diabetes;Method: The free medical screening in the community out of the 120 cases of patients with pre-diabetes, according to their own willingness whether to accept diabetes education into education group and the control group. Education group to carry out a one-year diabetes education system, the control group may be obtained from a simple verbal education of general practitioners, general knowledge or understanding of diabetes from television, the Internet and other related promotional materials, no special diabetes education. Observed after 1 year of follow-up indicators of physiological parameters body mass index, waist circumference, blood pressure and glycemic index fasting plasma glucose, oral glucose tolerance test 2 hours plasma glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin A1 c and outcomes in patients with pre-diabetes evaluation of the situation; Results: There were no baseline general information physiological parameters and blood glucose levels were not different. Observed after 1 year of follow-up, education group physiological parameters Body Mass Index, waist circumference, blood pressure, and glycemic index fasting plasma glucose, oral glucose tolerance test 2hours plasma glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin A1 c was significantly lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),education group at follow-up fasting blood glucose compared with control group improved, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05). Conversion rate of diabetes inpatients with pre-areas: education group with normal glucose tolerance reversal rate was significantly higher(P<0.01), the conversion rate of diabetes education group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05);Conclusion: Diabetes education can improve prediabetes patients with multiple metabolic parameters, reducing the risk of the incidence of diabetes and normal glucose tolerance reversal rate increase. It can effectively control and prevention of diabetes in patients with pre-diabetes condition for communities to facilitate the promotion, provide a scientific basis for community diabetes prevention.
