Objective To investigate the genotype of staphylococcal chromosomal cassettemec(SCCmec) and panton-valentine leukocidin(PVL) gene in clinical methicillin-resistantStaphylococcus aureus (MRSA) from burn department in a hospital of Ningxia, to understandcurrent drug resistance of MRSA in the burn department.Methods The genotyping of SCCmec were performed by PCR in148strains of MRSAfrom the burn ICU and burn general unit from September2012to September2013.Theantimicrobial resistance of MRSA and MSSA to23kinds of commonly used antibiotics weremeasured by disk diffusion method(K-B method). The detection of PVL gene were performedby PCR in148strains of MRSA.Results To the148strains MRSA,penicillin and cephalosporins showing100%resistance rate, vancomycin, teicoplanin, linezolid,nitrofurantoin,quinupristin/dalfopristinand tigecycline resistance rates were0.106strains of MRSA were SCCmecⅢ type, detectionrate of71.6%. Burn ICU MRSA detection rate was91.2%,significantly higher than thegeneral unit MRSA detection rate77.5%(χ2=5.526,P=0.019). Resisitance rates of SCCmecⅢ MRSAisolates to most antimicrobial agents (23.6%~92.5%)higher than the negative(19.0%~71.4%). PVL gene carrier rate of16.9%,resisitance rates of PVL-positive MRSAisolates to9kinds of antimicrobial agents higher than the negative,Conclusions MRSA detection rates of the burn department are higher and the drug resistances situation are very serious,SCCmecⅢ is the major genotype of MRSA isolatedfrom the burn department, resisitance rates of PVL-positive MRSA isolates was higher thanthe negative, not found on the glycopeptide antibiotic resistance. |
