Aim: To explore the idiopathic rapid eye movement sleepbehaviordisorder in patients with early Parkinson’s disease in patients if there is asimilar subclinical dysfunction in motor and non-motor function, and furtheranalysis of the correlation between the above-mentioned damage. Methods: We evaluated motor function and non-motor function in146patients, including41with idiopathic rapid eye movement sleep behaviourdisorder,63controls,42Parkinson’s patients.Results:1) PD patients in the motor function, olfactory function, cardiovascular system, rectal function are significantly lower than the controlgroup(P<0.05);All measures of motor function and olfactory function, cardiovascular system are impaired in patients with IRBD compared withcontrols (P<0.05);The motor function (except the Tap-test) and olfactoryfunction, cardiovascular system, urinary system in patients with IRBD arebetter than that of PD patients;2) In patients with IRBD motor function isnegatively correlated with age and course of disease(P <0.05);3) Olfactoryfunction in patients with IRBD is negatively related to the severity ofdisease(P<0.05);4) The extent of damage in IRBD patients with diseaseduration of less than10years is higher than those with disease duration ofover10years in UPDRS-III and Tap-test(P>0.05);5) Other than slightly better performances among men in the Up and go test, there was nodifference in any measure between men and women(P>0.05).Conclusion: Patients with IRBD have motor and non-motor functiondamage, which is similar to the early stage of neurodegenerative disease. The extent of damage between normal control group and PD group.Thedamage is more common in IRBD patients with the course of the disease lessthan10years. Through the evaluation of injury function and long-termfollow-up in patients with IRBD, can provide a powerful way forneurodegenerative disease diagnosis and treatment.
