Although, the space suit could protect the spacemanfrom the radiation, the influence of all kinds of rays in space could not be neglected.The accumulative effect of radiation in space could influence the health of spaceman.Also, with the development of technology, the level of medical treatment increasessharply. Almost70%patients who could not accept the chemotherapy will be treatedby radiation. But the side effect of radiotherapy should also be taken into account. Thetoxicity, headache and diarrhea of patients, the reducing of leukocyte and thedegeneration of immunity are the reasons of patients to give up the radiotherapy.Radiation-induced brain injured has limited the use of radiation in treating patients.Nowadays, we still do not know how the radiation-induced brain injured happen, sowe could not find an effective way to cure the side effect of radiation. So, the study ofradiation-induced brain injured is more and more important.As we know, an accurate model of radiation-induced brain injured is the basement tostudy this illness. With the successful establishment of the model, we could study themechanism of this illness in many ways. Also, medicines which made according tothe mechanism could be tested with the model. But the study of model ofradiation-induced brain injured is seldom. And there is nearly no one has set up amodel of radiation of γ-ray induced brain injured. We could not focus the γ-ray on apoint or a small area as other rays, so it is considered an innovative research as settingup a model of radiation of γ-ray induced brain injured.With the studies before, we confirmed to set up a model of radiation of γ-ray inducedbrain injured with SD rats. After radiate with a30Gy γ-ray, only the brain of rats wereinjured, digestive tract and respiratory tract did not damaged. So the rats could eat andrespiration as the same after radiation. We executed the rats at1day,7days and28days after radiation to remove the brains. And we detected the level of oxidative stressand the content of cytokines to make sure if the injured of brain have happened and toanalyse the mechanism of γ-ray induced brain injured. We found that a30Gy γ-ray focused on the brain could simulate successfully theradiation-induced brain injured. We also found this model would injure in a short time,and the content of MDA increased sharply, inflammatory factor like IL-6alsoincreased in a short time. But with the time passing on, the brain fixed itself todecrease the indicators above. After28days of radiation, most of the indicators wererecovered to regular. So it may indicate the model of γ-ray induced brain injured hadset up successfully. But we still could not to tell how it happens comprehensively,another study of treat rats with brain injured in drugs will be carried out. |
