Aconitum gymnandrum, a Chinese traditional herbal drug, is a flowering plant belonging to Aconitum genus. Aconitum gymnandrum is an annual herb with straight root. The stem is25-100cm high with pubescent, usually branching. It is located in the southern part of Gansu、Qinghai and Tibet. They are mainly founded growing in hillside, roadside, dene and tussock. Biological activity studies performed on this species have shown it has analgesia, anti-inflammatory, antiarrhythmic, local anesthetic activities, and can be used to cure rheumatoid, scabies, joint pain and so on. The whole plant of Aconitum gymnandrum is poisonous, so it was used to deal with the Four-pests (mouse、mosquito、fly、cockroach) in Minhe of Qinghai province. Previous studies revealed that the plants of this genus mainly contain diterpenoid alkaloids, flavonoids etc.In order to explore more chemical constituents of Aconitum gymnandrum, and to exploit new resources of Chinese Traditional Medicine, the chemical constituents of95%EtOH extracts were isolated by means of silica gel column chromatography (CC), Sephadex LH-20, MCI and recrystallization etc., and13compounds were obtained; Their structures of11compounds were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods:IR、EI-MS、HR-ESI-MS、1D NMR (1H NMR、13C NMR, DEPT),2D NMR (’H-’H COSY、HSQC、HMBC、ROESY), together with comparison with the data from literature. They were identified as diterpenoid alkaloids, derivatives of benzene etc., and compound1.1was a new compound. In this paper, the13C NMR data of the compound of methyl gymnaconitine were reported for the first time. Antifungal activities of two compounds in those compounds were made also.Cedrus deodara belongs to the pine family, with another name of cedar, is totally referred to as the Pinaceae cedar species. Cedar was first founded in Himalayas. Now, it is distributed in the southern of China Tibet, India and Afghanistan. It has many useful biological activities and used as traditional medicine in Chinese and India. Much attention was given to the plant with the founding of the anticancer activity of lignans in recent years. It was revealed that the plants of this genus mainly contain sesquiterpenes, diterpenes and their oxygenated derivatives, lignans and flavonoids etc.In order to explore more chemical constituents of Cedrus deodara, and to exploit new resources of Chinese Traditional Medicine, the chemical constituents of CHC13phase were isolated by means of silica gel column chromatography (CC), Sephadex LH-20, MCI and recrystallization etc. respectively, and18compounds were obtained; Their structures of16compounds were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods:EI-MS、1D NMR (1H NMR、13CNMR、DEPT),2D NMR (1H-1H COSY. HSQC、HMBC), X-ray, together with comparison with the data from literature. They were identified as diterpenoids, sesquiterpenoids and steroidal compounds etc. and compound2.1was a new compound. In the end of this thesis, one review was made on the chemical constituents and biology activities of the family of Aconitum reported in the past few years. The results of this paper were expected to enrich the database of natural products, to afford the scientific basis of pharmacology, chemotaxonomy and screening of new medicines, and to help the utilization of the Chinese natural resources as well as the research of Chinese Traditional Medicine modernization.
