Comparison Between Laparoscopic And Laparotomy Of Hiatal Hernia Repair

Objective:To comparison between laparoscopic and laparotomy hiatal hernia repair of therapeutic effect.Methods:Retrospectively analyzed the clinical data From March2008to March2013in our hospital who have received laparoscopic or laparotomy hiatal hernia repair, divided into two groups:laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair group of23cases and laparotomy hiatal hernia repair group of20cases. Compare the following indicators:operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative hospital days, postoperative complications, postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery time, postoperative analgesia.Results:Two groups of patients were successfully completed surgery, compare two groups of indicators:laparoscopy and laparotomy group in operation time, infection of incision, postoperative reflux condition and hernia recurrence, curative effect is no statistical differences (P＞0.05), although intraoperatie blood loss was statistically difference (P<0.05), But the difference between the two group average data only about40ml, so no clinical significance. In the postoperative hospital days, postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery time, postoperative analgesia, the laparoscopic group were better than laparotomy group and statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion:Laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair is a minimally invasive, safe and effective treatment method, compared with the traditional laparotomy, laparoscopic surgery have small trauma, quick recovery, shorter hospitalization time etc, and is worth wide application in clinic.
