Objective: To analysis the complication after general anesthesiasurgery(excluding renal transplantation) and its influencing factors in thepatients with maintenance hemodialysis.Methods:54routine maintenance hemodialysis patients withend-stage renal disease between January2009and December2013werereviewed. The surgical complications were compared with60patients withnormal renal function During the same period. Results: Postoperative complication rate in patients with MHD issignificantly higher than in patients with normal renal function(48.1%VS10.0%, P <0.01); The most common complication is severe hypertension(20.4%), followed by pulmonary infection (14.8%), heart event (13.0%);The time of hospitalization is significantly prolonged[(22.37±13.57) VS(10.82±6.09) days, P <0.01]; The postoperative mortality is no statisticaldifference (7.4%VS1.7%, P=0.188);The diabetic nephropathy, preoperative hypoalbuminemia and intraoperative hemorrhage400ml ormore may result in postoperative complications increased; Multivariate Logistic regression analysis suggests that diabetic nephropathy is anindependent risk factor in predicting postoperative complications or not (OR=17.914,95%CI:1.164-275.802;P=0.039).Conclusions: MHD patients has long time of hospitalization andhigh incidence of postoperative complications, preoperativehypoalbuminemia, intraoperative bleeding and diabetic nephropathy moreclosely associated with increased incidence of postoperative complications, diabetic nephropathy are independent risk factors of postoperativecomplications in patients with MHD.
