Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect of TriVex TransilluminatedPowered Phlebectomy(TIPP) centered three-stage management for lowerlimb venous ulcer. And to discuss how to improve its effectiveness,reduce its complications and relapse.Methods: Eighty-six patients with102limbs underwent the TriVexTIPP centered three-stage management was recorded operativecomplications, and observed skin change in the4to48monthspostoperative follow-up. All data were collected and statistically analyzed.Results: After surgery there is no acute cellulitis, skin necrosis or deepvenous thrombosis in lower limbs occurred in all of the eighty-six patients,but there were2cases of subcutaneous ecchymosis,1case of subcutaneoushematoma,1case of skin abnormal sensation and1case of subcutaneousinduration. During the4to48months’ follow-up,15±12months for mean,none of these patients lost to follow-up. All cases were healed within onemonth post-operation, while55cases healed within1week,31cases in2weeks,6cases in3weeks, and10cases in4weeks. And skin changes were alleviated with no ulcer recurrence.Conclusions: The therapy of lower limb venous ulcer is a long termprocess. Not just the operation, preoperative and post-operation treatmentare equally important. Combined therapy of the TriVex TIPP centeredthree-stage management, with shortened healing time, low recurrence rateand incidence rate of postoperative complications, is a good option forlower limb venous ulcer. |
