Objectives:To detect and analyse the expression rate and clinical significance of PEG10and TSG101in pancreatic ductal carcinoma.Materials and Methods:We studyed the PEG10and TSG101expression rate in69pancreatic ductal carcinoma,30peritumoral tissues,24precancerous tissues and6normal pancreatic tissue. And the survival time after surgery also analyzed.Results:1. High expression rate of PEG10in pancreatic ductal carcinoma (55.1%), low expression in peritumoral tissues (6.7%), precancerous tissues(16.67%) and normal pancreatic tissues (0.0%). The differences between pancreatic ductal carcinoma and the three control groups were statistically significant (respectively:P=0.000, P=0.001and0.010). The expression rate in pancreatic ductal carcinoma also related to the T stage and surrounding tissue invasion (respectively:P=0.001and0.010).2. High expression rate of TSG101in pancreatic ductal carcinoma (55.1%), low expression in peritumoral tissues (16.67%), precancerous tissues (12.50%) and pancreatic tissues (0.0%). The differences between pancreatic ductal carcinoma and the three control groups were statistically significant (respectively:P=0.000, P=0.000and0.010). The expression rate in pancreatic ductal carcinoma also related to the T stage and surrounding tissue invasion(respectively:P=0.001and0.010).3. Spearman correlation analysis showed that the expression of PEG10and TSG101in the pancreatic ductal carcinoma has a significant positive correlation (r=0.779, P=0.007).4. The univariate Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that the expression of PEG10and TSG101was closely correlated with survival time(respectively:P=0.001and0.000).Conclusions:1. The expression rate of PEG10and TSG101in pancreatic ductal carcinoma was higher over peritumoral tissues, precancerous tissues and normal pancreatic tissue.2. The expression rate of PEG10and TSG101in pancreatic ductal carcinoma were both positively related to the T staging.3. The expression rate of PEG10and TSG101in pancreatic ductal carcinoma was positively correlated to each other.4. Patients who have PEG10(+) or TSG101(+) mean poor prognosis.
