Objective:Long noncoding RNA(lncRNA) have crucial roles in diverse biological processes. We performed a genome-wide analysis of lncRNA expression in nasal mucosa of patients with allergic rhinitis (AR) and healthy individuals to identify novel targets for further study of allergic rhinitis. Methods:The genome-wide analysis of lncRNA expression in these tissues was performed by RNA-Seq. Quantitative RT-PCR(qRT-PCR) was used to confirm these results. The differential expressions of lncRNAs and mRNAs were identified through RPKM and fold-change filtering. The co-expression lncRNA-mRNA was superimposed the RDAS. Pathway analysis were performed with KEGG and BioCarta database. Results:We found that173lncRNAs were differentially expressed in three pair tissues. Among these,120lncRNAs were up-regulated and53lncRNAs were down-regulated. And437mRNAs were all different expression in allergic rhinitis and healthy individuals,365up-regulated,72down-regulated. qRT-PCR verified some up-regulated and down-regulated lncRNAs in nasal mucosa of patients with allergic rhinitis. The co-expression analysis predicted connections between85differentially expressed lncRNAs and379coding genes. And with Pathway analysis, we found that17potential Pathway role in the pathogenesis of AR. Conclusion:Using a genome-wide analysis of lncRNA expression in nasal mucosa of patients with allergic rhinitis and healthy individuals, we foud that there are some aberrant lncRNAs in allergic rhinitis, some of which could respond to allergic rhinitis development.
