Objective:To explore the value of evaluating the stage of liver fibrosis with dual-source CT perfusion. Combining with serological indexes, reflect changes of the hemodynamics of liver fibrosis progression in a quantitative way. Methods:Selected healthy New Zealand white rabbits, regardless of their gender. The experimental group with intraperitoneal injection of10%CCl4olive oil solution and the control group was injected with physiological saline,0.1ml/kg, two times a week, for12weeks. Respectively in4,6,8,10and12weeks, the rabbits was examined with dual-source CT perfusion imaging and Dual energy scanning. The parameters include arterial liver perfusion(ALP), portal venous perfusion (PVP), hepatic perfusion index (HPI), blood flow (BF), blood volume (BV) and Iodine content were recorded. Before scanning, Draw blood was used to detect serum markers of liver fibrosis.6hours after scanning, anesthesia death, according the pathological examination to determine stage. Results:The experiment group with60rabbits,14of them were died.the mortality was23.3%; A total of46modeling and10control rabbits have scanned and pathology staged. The PVP decreased as the increase of liver fibrosis. PVP between S0, S1stage to S2, S3, S4stage were significant different (P <0.05). The perfusion parameters as PVP and HPI showed little relationship with the severity of fibrosis (r=-0.84, P<0.05; r=0.62, P<0.05). The serum makers, especially HA, â…£-C, was positively correlated with histopathological staging (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the content of iodine in group. Conclusion:Dual-source CT can reflect the tendency of hemodynamic which indicate the severity of fibrosis. PVP plays an important parameters for differentiating between fibrosis stages by using semi-quantitative method and it is helpful for clinical application to evaluate the stage of liver fibrosis. Serum markers has a little relationship with the liver fibrosis. Thus, Combination two of them can improve the evaluation of liver fibrosis.
