Objective:To study the differences of Nuchal Translucency(NT) thickness of Han and Uighurs to establish normal data and evaluate the diagnostic value of nuchal translucency thickness and serological in fetal chromosomal abnormalities.Methods: Eight thousand one hundred and sixty-one pregnant woman with health fetus taking NT examination in our department were enrolled in the study.T here were5025women in Han group and3136woman in Uighur group.The fetel NT thickness were analyzed with linear regressions.3106cases pregnancy were outcomes in examined Nuchal Translucency Thickness (11-13+6w) and Serological (14-20w).the test results were compared with Pregnancy outcome Translucency Thickness, Serological and the relationship between chromosome abnormal and normal fetal were analyzed,The receiver operator characteristic(ROC)curves were established and the cut-off point was chosen.Results:There was no sigificant difference in the age of the pregnant women and the NT thickness At11-13+6weeks between the two groups (P>0.05).The95th percentiles of fetal NT thickness at11-13+6gestational weeks in Han group and Uighur group were both0.22cm chromosome abnormal and normal fetal had statistical differences in Translucency Thickness and Serological (P<0.05),The sensitivity and specificity of NT were77.43%and99.05%, The sensitivity and specificity of Serological were85.71%、 and95.85%, The sensitivity and specificity of combining NT and Serological were100%and99.7%, which was different significantly(P<0.05),Areas under the curve (AUC) of combined screening and Serological screening and NT screening were0.995,0.903,0.866,0.830respectively.Conclusion:There was no ethnic difference in fetal NT thickness at11-13+6gestational weeks.The normal value of fetal NT thickness might be0.22cm in Xingjiang serological combined with NT is the most cost-effective method of NT, serological used respectively.
