Meta-analysis Of Safety And Efficacy On Roux-en-Y Reconstruction After Distal Gastrectomy For Gastric Cancer

Objective:To evaluate the safety and efficacy of Roux-en-Y reconstruction after distal gastrectomy for gastric cancer.Methods:The articles of prospective controlled trials were searched by the means of PubMed,MEDLINE,CNKI,CBM and WANG FANG.Evaluated quality of the included studies, Then metaluated quality of the included studies.Results:Four randomized controlled trials were involved.A total of478cases.Analyses showed that, Roux-en-Y reconstruction can reduce remnant gastritis [OR=0.43(95%CI:0.28-0.66),P=0.0001]and bile reflux [OR=0.04(95%CI:0.01-0.14), P<0.00001],increase operation time[WMD=40.2(95%CI:13.93-66.11),P=0.003].But in Hospital stay [P=0.05],Anastomotic leakage[P=0.47],Refiux esophagitis[P=0.13] was no different.Conclusion:Current studies show that Roux-en-Y reconstruction after distal gastrectomy for gastric cancer than Billroth I reconstruction in reducing postoperative bile reflux and remnant gastritis.
