Objectives:By detecting the length of circumference at wrist creases and10cm above the wrist creases and elbow creases and10cm above the elbow crease with soft ruler and measuring the degree of angle of the anteflexion, rear protraction, adduction, abduction, intorsion and extorsion under there is no uncomfortable feeling happened on the patients and evaluating the quality of life on breast cancer, evaluating; the clinical curative effect of traditional Chinese Warm Acupuncture on ameliorating volume of the post-op lymphedema of Breast Cancer. Methods:According to random digital number, all the30cases will be applied for the2groups randomly with15of which to the experimental group and15of which to the control group. Patients in the experimental group were given warm acupuncture once time on alternate days for total of28days. Detecting the length of circumference and measuring the movement evaluation of shoulder joint activity and evaluating the quality of life on breast cancer will be taken respectively after7days,14days,21days and28days.900mg of Diosmin tablets will be oral taken for3times one day and for14day as one period of treatment by patients in the control group. Detecting the length of circumference and measuring the movement evaluation of shoulder joint activity and evaluating the quality of life on breast cancer will be taken respectively after7days and14days.The curative effect will be evaluated by three indicators, that is the effective indexes, the movement evaluation of shoulder joint activity and the quality of life evaluation.Results:1. Warm acupuncture treatment can positively reduce the volume of upper limb lymphedema and ameliorating activity of the shoulder joint.2. As compared to the general effective index, the results at the wrist and above elbow increased much high than the results on other locations, which may mean that the effects of acupuncture at the wrist and above elbow are better than those of other locations.3. The subjects in the group of warm acupuncture feel much happier than those in the control group.4. All the subjects received twice of the tests of routine blood, electrocardiogram, hepatic and renal functions with normal value, which means that acupuncture for1month is clinical safety. Conclusions:Warm acupuncture treatment can ameliorate volume of the post-op lymphedema of Breast Cancer and improve the quality of life.
