Expression Of Fra-1, MMP-9, TIMP-3Protein In Gastric Carcinoma Tissues And Its Significance

Objectives To investigate the expression of Fra-1、 MMP-9and TIMP-3ingastric cancer、 precancerous tissues and normal tissues adjacent gastric cancer, toresearch the correlation of Fra-1、MMP-9and TIMP-3with gastric cancer invasionand metastasis.Method30gastric cancer specimen after surgical，30normal tissues adjacentgastric cancer and20precancerous tissues specimen were collected, all specimenswith SABC immunohistochemical, patients’ age、 sex、 tumor size、 differentiationdegree、 lymph node metastasis、 distant metastasis and TNM stage for correlationanalysis, to investigate the significance of Fra-1、 MMP-9and TIMP-3in gastriccancer.Results1) The Fra-1、MMP-9positive expression rate for gastric cancer were（66.7%，76.7%）higher than precancerous tissues（25%，30%）and adjacent tissues（23.3%，20%）,the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）. The TIMP-3positive expression rate for gastric cancer was (50%), lower than adjacent tissues (80%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), lower thanprecancerous tissues (60%), but the difference wasn’t statistically significant(P>0.05).2) Fra-1、MMP-9positive expression rate for gastric cancer in TNM III+IV stage group, lymph node metastasishas group，distant metastasisstatistically group higher than TNM I+II stage group, without lymph node metastasishas group and without distant metastasisstatistically group. the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). And TIMP-3is the opposite. 3) Bivariate correlation analysis showed: MMP-9was positively correlatedwith the expression of Fra-1, while negatively correlated with TIMP-3expression in gastric cancer. MMP-9was positively correlated with the expression ofTIMP-3in normaltissues adjacent gastric cancer and precancerous tissues.Conclusions Fra-1, MMP-9overexpressed and TIMP-3lowexpressed in gastriccancer, the expression lever maybe correlated with gastric cancer invasion andmetastasis, and have reference value to determine disease progression and metastasistrend.
