Objective: To summarize the characteristics of breast lesions incontrast enhanced ultrasound (CEUS), analyze whether they are differentbetween benign and malignant breast diseases in CEUS.Methods: One hundred and seven patients underwent CEUS. Analysisof lesions enhancement patterns and time_intensity curve and Conclusionultrasonic imaging characteristics of benign and malignant breastdiseases. Results: Histopathologic analysis of the93lesions revealed52malignant and41benign. In52malignant lesions,47lesions showedinhomogeneous enhancement (90.38%), and39malignant lesionsshowed high-enhancing (75.0%),All malignant lesions showed borderunclear (100%),32malignant lesions had contrast agent retention(61.54%) and23malignant lesions had penetrating vessels (44.23%).In41benign lesions,32lesions showed homogeneous enhancement(78.05%),the main enhancements degrees of benign lesions are equivalent enhancement and low enhancement, high enhancement and noenhancement also can appeared.28benign lesions showed clear boundary(68.30%), most of benign lesions had no contrast agent retention(85.37%) and no penetrating vessels (92.68%).The time-intensity curveof malignant displayed raising rapidly and then slowly decline, howeverbenign showed raising rapidly and then fast decline. Compared with theaverage of Wash-in-time (WIT) and peak intensity (PI), The malignantlesions is shorter in WIT and stronger in PI than the benign lesions. TheWIT(10.56±3.78s) and PI(36.20±15.18dB)of malignant lesions weremore different from benign group (P<0.05).The peak time (TTP)and peakintensity by half time(PI) were compared in benign and malignant, nostatistically significant difference between them (P>0.05).Conclusions: Through contrast enhanced ultrasound,it can help toimprove the differential diagnosis of breast lesions.
