Objects Evaluate the risk factors associated with GDM(gestational diabetes mellitus), understandthe intensity and the contact of each influence factor, longitudinal follow-up the adverse outcomes of GDM.Through the analysis of the research, use the risk factor as an indication timely screening, diagnosis, treatment and prevention for indications. Methods Study1, using a retrospective analysis method to study the effect factors of GDM, usingthe epidemiology1:2matched case-control study,92patients with GDM selected as case group frommaternity hospital in Kaifeng city, Henan province;184pregnant women to participate in normal pregnancycheck in the same hospital selected as the control group, then questionnaire in August2012to January2013;Study2, using prospective cohort to study the adverse outcomes with GDM patients.179cases of GDMpatients who had been successfully produced and had recorded in medical records accepted telephonefollow-up.Results Study1:(1) In this study,276cases are the effective investigation (case group and thecontrol group,92cases of184cases); average age (31.6±5.3) years old, the difference has no statisticalsignificance (P>0.05), Both groups also showed balanced and comparable.(2) GDM univariate analysis ofrisk factors(P <0.05):①Age≥35years old pregnant woman;②Body Mass Index (BMI)≥25Kg/㎡pregnant women;③Mothers (P≥1);④Like to eat sweets;⑤Hepatitis disease before pregnancy;⑥Motherand immediate family members of the two groups with and without a history of diabetes, the difference hasstatistical significant.(3) Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that negative emotions, like toeat sweets, maternal age, and family history of diabetes (9.524,4.764,2.930,2.672) is an independent riskfactor for GDM occurred.Study2shows that low mass son and delivery gestational weeks have relations;delivery way andthe birth weight have relations;birth abnormal situation and delivery gestational weeks have relations(P<0.05).Nursing Strategies Two studies showed that the incidence of major risk factors for GDM includepoor dietary habit, poor mood, old age pregnancy and so on. Adverse pregnancy outcomes mainly for fetal macrosomia, cesarean section, the incidence of adverse neonatal cases increase. Develop appropriatenursing strategies in accordance with risk factors for GDM and adverse outcomes, thereby reducing theincidence of GDM and adverse pregnancy. Conclusions Study1shows that the above finding suggest that GDM may be associated with thepregnant woman who is more than35years old, has a sweet tooth, a bad mood and family history ofdiabetes. Study2shows that since GDM do great harm to both maternal and neonatal, it is of great meaningto have further study for how GDM affect the maternal and neonatal outcomes, and then control itscomplications and reduce mortality.
