| Objective To evaluate the morphological and pathologic features of polyps in CRC patients. Methods A total of3166cases underwent colonoscopy between April2009and August2012in The First People’s Hospital of Yangzhou. Turn them into two groups:CRC, non-CRC. And recorded sex, age, adenomatous polyps characteristics (location, number, size, morphology and pathology)ã€CRC and so on. To analysis the morphological and pathologic features of polyps in the two groups.Results3022cases underwent total colonoscopy.142cases of CRC (4.7%),while2880cases in non-CRC. CRC patients had a higer prevalence of polyps, multiple polyps and high-risk adenoma than non-CRC (P=0.017, P=0.02, P=0.002); In CRC patients had a higher frequency of tubular or villous adenomas (P<0.05), but the two groups had no significant difference in terms of the size of the lesion, pathological type (P>0.05); right colonic lesion proportion in CRC patients was higher than that in non-CRC (37.4%vs27.5%, P=0.007), there was statistical significance. Conclusion There are high detection rates of colon polyps and high-risk adenoma in CRC patients, so we should pay attention to and improved the quality of colonoscopy in CRC patients. |
