ObjectiveIn order to know the therapeutic effect of electrical pulse leading-in Danshen Injection in the treatment of AVF and explore a new distinctive therapy of TCM to solve this problem.MethodsUsing prospective studies and randomized controlled trial,40patients gathered were divided into two groups randomly:blank group, treatment group. All patients were given clinical standardized treatment. The twenty blank group investigates the effect of routine treatment after surgery, the twenty treatment group cases were treated with electrical pulse leading-in Danshen Injection after arteriovenous fistula operation for2weeks, which is the first course. After the first course, according to every patient’s hospitalization, they could take the second course, every patient gathered should finish the first course. The blood flow of A-V fistula, the diameter of artery-vein shunt, the thickness from the vascular wall to the skin, the usage time and the status of AVF after treatment of two groups would be compared. The test data were evaluated by SPSS17.0. Results1. The maturation rate of the blood flow(>600mL/min) after a month were50%,85%in the blank group and the treatment group respectively, so significant divergence was shown between the blank group and the treatment group (P<0.05).2. The blood flow of A-V fistula after a month were1182.05±547mL/min.10in the treatment group, compared with that of the blank group, which is705.55±278.63mL/min, the blood flow of the treatment group is greater (P<0.05).3. The diameter of artery-vein shunt after a month were4.51±1.47mm,3.54±0.67mm in the blank group and the treatment group respectively, the difference was statistically significant between the blank group and the treatment group (P<0.05).4. Significant difference were found in the utilization of AVF between the treatment group and the blank group(P<0.05). ConclusionsElectrical pulse leading-in Danshen Injection is a combined therapy of Chinese and Western medicine. It can promote AVF mature, expand the diameter of artery-vein shunt, increase the utilization of AVF. It is not only easy to handle, without side effect, but also no other extra pain and burden to patients. Therefore, electrical pulse should be widely used for treating the disease.
