| ObjectiveTo discuss the application value of "Modified Buzhongyiqit Soup" to prevent and treat the postoperative complications after the laparoscopic totally extraperitoneal prosthetic (TEP).MethodsTake60cases from the laparoscopic totally extraperitoneal prosthetic operations performed in my department from February2013to February2014as a sample. Divide them into two groups,30cases as Treatment Group and30as Control Group. Besides receiving conventional operation treatment, patients in Treatment Group also take a daily dose of Modified Buzhongyiqi Soup after operation. Observe all patients’ postoperative complications, including scrotal emphysema, urinary retention, seroma, postoperative recurrence, application painkillers. Evaluate pain and uncomfortableness in groin area with VAS scale for both groups.ResultIn Treatment Group, with one patient quitting halfway, only29patients finished through the whole study. In Control Group, with two patients lost track, only28patients finished through the whole study. For postoperative complications of scrotal emphysema, urinary retention and postoperative recurrence, their occurrences in both groups after treatment are of no statiscal significance (P>0.05); for seroma and application painkillers, their occurrences differ greatly and are therefore of statiscal significance (P<0.05). A week after operation, both groups show little difference in VAS evaluation, i.e. of no statiscal significance (P>0.05). Three months after operation, VAS evaluation for both groups are differs and therefore of statiscal significance (P<0.05). ConclusionWhen regular medicine treatment combined with Modified Buzhongyiqi Soup for patients who have underwent the laparoscopic toally extraperitoneal prosthetic surgeries, the rates of groin seroma and frequencies of analgestic drugs usage can be decrease. And comparing to the control group, it can relieve groin pain in the long-term efficacy. |
