Objective: To study the distribution of CYP2C19genotype in Dalian and itssurrounding areas and compare the differences of the distribution of CYP2C19genotypebetween the Han and ethnic minorities among different regions.Methods: Collection of peripheral blood during operations of percutaneouscoronary intervention(PCI) from463patients diagnosed with coronary heart diseasesince January2012to June2012and genotyping CYP2C19by Polymease ChainReaction(PCR) and e-Hyb automated hybridization instrument was performed.Results: After detecting463DNA sample of Han patients received PCI in DalianMunicipal Central Hospital, we found,203(43.84%) exhibited*1\*1genotype(636GG,681GG),180(38.88%)exhibited*1\*2genotype(636GG,681GA),29(6.26%)exhibited*1\*3genotype(636GA,681GG),40(8.64%)exhibited*2\*2genotype(636GG,681AA),9(1.94%)exhibited*2\*3genotype(636GA,681GAP)and2(0.43%)exhibited*3\*3genotype(636AA,681GG. Among the463patients,203(43.84%) belong to fast metabolization type,209(45.14%) were intermediatemetabolization type, and51(11.02%) were slow metabolization type. This CYP2C19genotype distribution had no significant difference with that of people in Chongqingand Jiangsu, Han, Uygur and Miao people (X2=1.99,0.35,1.73,1.70, respectively,P>0.05), but there was statistically difference when compared with Salar in Qinghai(X2=0.033,P<0.05),Mongolian and Hui(X2=16.26and44.41respectively, P <0.01). Conclusion: CYP2C19polymorphism was present among people in Dalian and itssurrounding areas. The main form of CYP2C19gene mutation was CYP2C19*2(681Gâ†'A). The research of CYP2C19distribution genotype provided important guidancefor the use of clinical related drugs.
