ObjectiveTo observe hemodynamic changes of centra retinal artery(CRA) and their relationswith duration, glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c), blood lipids (TC,TG,LDL,HDL) andurinary albumin (Ualb) in diabetic patients. This study was to evaluate the values ofcontolling the relvevant factors patients with diabetic retinopathy.Materials and methodsA total of120patients with diabetes mellitus were selectied form the FourthPeople’s Hospital of Shenyang of endocrinology.25healthy controls were included in thestudy. All of them were examined by ophthalmoscope and fluorescein angiography anddivided into4groups according to domestic staging of diabetic retinopathy:no obviousretinopathy (n=35),non—proliferative diabetic retinopathy(n=36), non-proliferativediabetic retinopathyⅡ(n=28)and non-proliferative diabetic retinopathyⅢ(n=21)Control group included25healthy volumterrs. The peak systolic velocity(PSV),enddiastolic velocity (EDV)and resistance index(RI)of central retinal artery(CRA)weremeasured by color Doppler energy imaging.Duration, glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAIc), blood lipids (TC,TG,LDL,HDL)and eye vascular hemodynamic parameterswere compared with correlation and diagnostic specificity after data analysisStatistical analysis: All data for statistical analysiswas were useed with SPSS21software system. Measurement data were expressed as mean±standarddeviation. When compared means among two groups we adopted t-test with post hoccomparison. Among groups were compared using analysis of variance. For theanalysis of variance, there are differences between the groups were performedpairwise comparison. Pearson’s correlation analysis were performed todisplayCorrelation between variables. The dependent variable was the central retinal artery (CRA) of flow parameters (PSV, EDV, RI). Argument was HbA1c, TG, TC,LDL-C, HDL-C,24hUalb.Findings with a P value less than0.05was considered asstatistically significant.Results①Comparing with healthy group, blood flow velocity parameters of CRA decreasedsignificantly and the resistance index(RI) of CRA increased in diabetic patients②There was a negative correlation between EDV of CRA, and glycosylatedhemoglobin (HbA1c),.a positive correlation between RI and HbA1.③There was anegative correlation between EDV of CRA, and blood lipids(TC,TG,LDL), a positivecorrelation between RI and, blood lipid (TC,TG,LDL).④There was a negativecorrelation between EDV of CRA and duration, a positive correlation between RI andduration. There was a positive correlation between EDV of CRA and HDL, a negativecorrelation between RI and HDL.⑤24hUalb There was a negative correlationbetween EDV of CRA and24hUalb,, a positive correlation between RI and24hUalb.ConclusionOcular hemodynamics become abnormal during the early stage of diabetic retinopathyand worsen with the progress of diabetic retinopathy. It is necessary to concern aboutchanges in hemodynamic parameters of CRA. In diabetic patients, the blood flowvelocity of CRA decreased,The resistance of retinal increased. Duration and bloodlipids(TC,TG,LDL,HDL)were the main factors that influenced the ocularhemodynamics. The examination of ocular hemodynamics may play an important rolein the early diabetic retinopathy....
