| Objective:To explore the indications and clinical analysis of primary mammoplasty withprosthesis after nipple-areola complex sparing modified radical mastectomy.Methods:Collected from February2011to March2014, the First Affiliated Hospital ofDalian Medical University Breast Surgery25cases of breast cancer as theobservation group. Totally21patients with micromastia underwent the primarymammoplasty with prosthesis after nipple-areola complex sparing modifiedradical mastectomy.4patients with macromastia underwent primarymammoplasty by latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap and inserting simpleprosthesis. And then make a random selection for30patients during the sameperiod，while they underwent simple nipple-areola complex sparing modifiedradical mastectomy. We follow up this research by questionaire andcalling and evaluate the cosmetic effect of reconstructive breasts basedon the standards of Harris and overall satisfaction. At last, comparedthe postoperative complications and life quality between these two groups.Results:These two groups all succeed. After the operation, there is one patient who gotSilicone gel implants rejection. After the breast prosthesis removal, To be recoveredafter symptomatic treatment, The survival rate has been100%until now. No localrecurrence and distal metastasis in both groups. The score of life quality of theobservational group is（77.2±4.3）.The other is（53.6±2.7）.Obviously, there issignificant difference between the2groups (P＞0.05).，the satisfaction rate for thisobservational group is88%. Conclusion:1. The method of the immediate prosthesis implantation for breast reconstructionafter modified radical mastectomy has the merits of simple and rapid operation，favorable effect，safe and rapid recovery.2. It can alleviate the psychological barrier of the patients for breast deficiencyand derogative form by improving breast form. And it can improve patients1lifequality. So it is worthy for being widely used in treatment. |
