| Research objectiveTo study the expression of Eg5and Ki67gene in renal cell carcinoma, Explore their roles and relationships in occurrence and development of renal cell carcinoma,expect to get aids for diagnosis,treatment and predicting prognosis in patients with renal cell carcinoma.MethodsExpression of Eg5and Ki67protein were detected by immunohistochemical S-P method in86cases of renal cell carcinoma tissue,20pericarcinomatous tissues. Their relationships were also analysed. Correlation analysis was used to verify its relationship with the clinical stages and pathologicalgrading of renal cell carcinoma.ResultsThe positive rate of Eg5and Ki67expression in renal cell carcinoma was82.6%and74.4%,but these were negative in pericarcinomatous tissues,and there is a significant difference(χ2=50,χ2=37.564, P<0.05).Positive correlation was found that the expression of Eg5and Ki67with the clinical stages, pathologicalgrading and tumor size of renal cell carcinoma,while no correlation with sex and age.Expression of Eg5and Ki67were both positive in59cases and both negative in10cases,and they had definite correlation(χ2=6.11, r=0.433, P<0.05).ConclusionEg5and Ki67play an important role in the occurrence and development of renal cell carcinoma,The expression of Eg5and Ki67have positive correlation with the clinical stages, pathologicalgrading and tumor size of renal cell carcinoma. Synergies effects between Eg5and Ki67may exist. |
