Objective:To evaluate the prognostic significance of EBV-DNA detection in peripheralblood in NK/T cell lymphoma patients. Methods:There were56patients with extranodal nasal type NK/T cell lymphoma receivedtherapy in our hospital, the EBV-DNA were detected with fluorescence quantitativePCR in the peripheral blood, it was positive that the plasma EBV-DNA contentdetection of>0copies/ml, the differentiation about stage of disease, B symptoms aswell as the curative effect between positive group and negative group patients wasanalyzed respectively. Results:There were30patients (66.7%) with advanced (stage III/IV) for45casespositive patients, and3patients (27.3%) with advanced (stage III/IV) for11casesnegative patients, there was significant difference between two groups (P<0.05),27cases (60%) with B symptoms in positive group was significantly higher than2cases(18.2%) in negative group patients (P<0.05).There were30cases reach CR (66.7%)in positive group, which was lower than9cases in negative group.(81.8%).The3years disease free survival rate and overall survival rate of patienrs in the positivegroup was significantly lower than the negative group patients. Conclusion:It will be a prognostic factor that to detect EB virus in peripheral blood ofpatients with NK/T cell lymphoma.
