Objective:To study the MR evaluation in percutaneous microwave ablation for uterinefibroids.Methods:128patients with154uterine fibroids underwent ultrasound guided percutaneousmicrowave ablation were given magnetic resonance (MRI) examination1day beforetreatment,3days after treatment, to summarize the MRI features of uterine fibroidsbefore and after microwave treatment and the changes of the signal intensity of MRIbefore and after treatment. Results:In contrast to microwave before and after treatment, treatment of lesionsenhanced significantly reduced, the size of the lesions had no obvious changes.Comparison of ultrasound contrast imaging changes after microwave ablation ofuterine fibroids MRI characteristic signal changes and airborne, with no significantdifference (P>0.05). MRI T2WI signal was low, and equal, high, contamination signalof uterine leiomyoma volume ablation rate were (86.03±11.44)%,(70.43±14.54)%,(64.33±17.51)%,(71.54±19.32)%. MRI T2WI uterine myoma volume high signalablation rate was significantly lower than the low signal of fibroids, with statisticalsignificance (P<0.05). MRI enhanced T1WI signal for the low signal, signal, highsignal of uterine myoma volume ablation rate were (83.30±16.72)%,(75.83±17.21)%,(67.32±15.63)%. MRI enhanced T1signal higher microwave ablation volume ablation rate was low, the ablation with different blood supply of fibroids wasstatistically significant (P<0.05). Intraoperative, postoperative complications in lowerabdominal pain in103cases, accounting for66.89%;sacrococcygeal, hip pain in82cases, accounting for53.25%;1.95%of3cases, preoperative vaginal skin damage;light bloody secretions of24cases, accounting for15.58%;lower limb pain, numbness in8cases, accounting for5.20%; low heat in53cases, accounting for34.42%.Conclusion:We can draw a conclusion that Low-field MRI evaluate percutaneous microwaveablation for uterine fibroids, different signal MRI performance has importantreference value for microwave treatment.
