Radiation Therapy plays an important role in the treatment of cancer, which isworked as a medical treatment methods. It contributs to human for about one hundredof years. Radiation Therapy development rapidly in the recent years due to theprogress of science and technology, especialy the development of radio physics. Atpresent, radio physics occupy an important position in the newest CRT (confirmalradiation therapy) technology and IMRT (intensity modulated radiation therapy)technology. The IMRT concept was raised for many years, which was carried out along withthe development of the computer in the recent years. The IMRT is belong to precisionRT, contening many realized methods such as one dimension、two dimension、tomotherapy、electromagnetism scanning and so on. The major technology is the stepand shoot IMRT and sliding window IMRT based on MLC(multileaf collimator). Each of them has its advantage and disadvantage. Different department like differentmethods because of considering different device and its technolgy level. Based on thepresent dives and technology, this thesis study the advantage and disadvantage of stepand shoot IMRT and sliding window IMRT, for providing reference for clinic. The IMRT needs precised QA for its every step, including body scanning、precised design、precised treatment and so on. For the sake of this, we should makeverification for every treatment object. There are many verifiaction methods andverification instrument in different department now. The most important work forradio physists is to find a simple and credible verificate method. This thesis advised anew methods for verification. That is, we can make both the absolute dose andrelative dose verification using two dimension verify instrument, which is very usefulfor QA work of the clinical radio physics.
