Studies On Chemical Ingredients And Quality Control Standards Of Cynanchum Wallichii Wight

Cynanchum wallichii Wight is an important prescription medicine of Hulisancapsule, but there is no specificity identification and quality control method about C.wallichii.This paper dealt with the quality standard of C. wallichii in Hulisan capsule,10compounds were isolated from the roots of C. wallichii by using different columnchromatography method. Based on spectral analysis, the structure of five compoundswere identified including one new compound named for wallicoside N (wallicosideN):, another was named for ophylloside P (otophylloside P) isolated from the roots ofC. wallichii for the first time, the other three known compounds were: wallicoside H(wallicoside H),otophylloside A (otophylloside A), and wallicoside (wallicoside).Chemistry research has shown that C21steroidal glycosides were the most sectionof the medicinal material content in C. wallichii.C21steroidal glycosides is mainlycomposed of the parent nucleus of Qingyangshengenin and caudatin.Therefore, aliquid chromatographic method is established for C. wallichii Choosing inQingyangshengenin and caudatin as an Indicator, its content is determined by usinghigh performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method, and, at the same time wedetermined the medicinal material of C. wallichii choosed in four different regionsand the same origin of different batch number as samples, the results showed that thecontent of Qingyangshengenin and caudatin in the medicinal material of C.wallichii choosed in four different origin are slightly different, the highest content ofQingyangshengenin and caudatin are the medicinal material from the city of Hong Heand Song Ming. the least content of Qingyangshengenin is from the city of Li Jiangand the least content of caudatin is from Gui Zhou. the two content in the same originof different batch number had changed little, Qingyangshengenin is in0.23%~0.26%,caudatin is in0.46%~0.54%.These methods provides the reference for the qualityevaluation and control of medicinal materials of C. wallichii in Hulisan capsule.In this paper, the moisture, ash content, extractum, determination of heavymetals and other projects of the medicinal material of C.wallichii were determinedwith the reference to the method in the appendix of“Chinese pharmacopoeia” of2010 version, as well as the content of Qingyangshengenin and caudatin was determined.Preliminarily we established the objective quality measure indexes, drafted themedicinal material draft of C.wallichii. It provided the reference for the themedicinal material of C.wallichii. in Hulisan capsule of YunNan province.
