Object i vesWe taked a method of clinical randomized controlled study to observe the effect of the subject and object acupuncture therapy on protrusion of lumbar disc with type of kidney deficiency, then evaluate the effect.MethodsIn this research, we chose64protrusion of lumbar disc patients with type of kidney deficiency to treat from Traditional Therapeutics Center of Guangdong Province Hospital of Chinese Traditional Medicine from February2013to January2014. We use the method of clinical randomized controlled, randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group. the treated group was treated by the subject and object acupuncture therapy, and the control group ordinary acupuncture;both groups were treated once a day for two courses, seven days were a course, between each course was an interval for one day. We recorded the scores of the JOA low back pain, VAS evaluation forms and Symptoms of Chinese Medicine Index to observe two groups’clinical efficacy of pre-treatment and post-treatment (the1st week、the2nd week、 and1month after the treatment). In order to compare the difference of each group’s effect, we use the SPSS software to analyze the deta of the research.Result1. We compared the score of JOA, VAS and Symptoms of Chinese Medicine Index between two groups after the treatment, there was a significant difference (P<0.05) after one weeks, two weeks and1month. It showed that the treated group was more effective to improve the protrusion of lumbar disc with type of kidney deficiency. 2. The total effective rate of each group was93.8%and87.5%after two courses’treatment, there was a significant difference between two groups (P<0.05). One month after the first treatment, The total effective rate of each group was93.8%and84.4%, also showed a significant difference (p<0.05). It showed that the treated group was more effective to improve the protrusion of lumbar disc with type of kidney deficiency.ConclusionThis research shows thatthe subject and object acupuncture therapy is more suitable for improving the lumbar disc with type of kidney deficiency, so it can be used as a normal method in clinical application.
