Objective:Through the children underwent liver transplantation perioperative data, and follow-up after close analysis of the situation, discuss the situation after the children’s growth and development as well. Methods:Clinical data collected from July2010to May2013, Tianjin First Central Hospital in the same surgical team treated68children with biliary atresia, a retrospective analysis of perioperative children Growth and nutritional status, concurrent postoperative transplant and immune disease agents and hormone use, and close follow-up study, The main postoperative monitoring children0,3,6,9,12,24,36months of height, weight, head circumference, chest, and Z-score, the reference standard for the China2005nine meter urban physical development of children while observing the children part of the fontanelle closing time and the growth of the teeth. Finally, analysis of liver transplantation in children’s growth and development of the law and its possible influencing factors.Results:1, Children underwent liver transplantation, height apparent catch-up growth phenomenon lasted until after2years (p<0.05),2, Children also appear in body weight of the catch-up, catch-up in terms of speed slower than the height, and ultimately to achieve a normal weight range.3, Z-score less than-1.5is defined as growth retardation in children, and further growth is compared to normal children, stunting the growth of the group of children growing significantly faster than the normal group (p<0.05), the growth of its occurrence catch more obvious.4, Further analysis of the growth of children with growth retardation, will be divided into groups of less than2years of age and more than two-year-old group, the growth rate of children less than2years of age was significantly faster than2-year-old group (p<0.05).5, Abnormal liver function group and the normal group, the growth of children with no significant difference (p>0.05).6, Two different immunosuppressive agents was no significant difference (p>0.05) on the growth of the overall situation of1children with cyclosporine A group of children to be better than tacrolimus group, closer to normal children.7, The growth and development of children is also no significant difference between gender and surgical time.8, Correlation analysis showed that the growth rate of children there is a statistically significant difference in height, weight, the amount of postoperative hormone transplant, and three showed a negative correlation.Conclusion:1, This study shows that children after liver transplantation in height and weight will be apparent catch-up growth phenomenon, and can be continued until after the first two years, after which there will still be good growth, but need more time observation.2, Through further study of children with growth retardation can be found in the catch-up growth after transplantation, and its increased faster than the normal group of children with growth, there are statistically significant differences, indicating that the children have a strong growth potential, once the liver transplantation, growth and development of its ability to quickly recover.3, After liver transplantation due to various reasons can cause abnormal liver function, such as infection, PTLD, chronic rejection, etc., may have affected the growth of children. However, the results of this study showed that passed and were compared with normal liver function found no statistically significant difference between the two, which is similar to the growth of both.4, For immunosuppressants, the longest by comparison to see tacrolimus and cyclosporine A, the results showed no significant difference between the two, but we can see that the risk of cyclosporine A group children overall situation is better than tacrolimus group, closer to normal children.5, On the height and weight of all children were analyzed, no statistically significant difference in gender, and age at surgery, and as long as liver transplantation, will have catch-up growth, the growth rate of the speed difference does not exist.6, There are statistically significant differences in the correlation analysis shows that the growth rate in children is height, weight, the amount of hormone use after transplantation, and three showed a negative correlation. So tips to reduce the amount of hormones can significantly accelerate the growth rate of children, gradually reduce the dosage, to maintain effective blood concentration, removal is not recommended to use.7, Compared with peers, and liver transplantation in children with growth and development to have some impact, but the overall situation is good.
