Objective: To understand the fusion application effect of rhBMP-2(Guyoudao) asosteoinductive growth factor in sheep anterior cervical titanium plate fixation and fusionoperation.Methods:8goats were done cervical interbody fusion and bone graft induction,anterior titanium plate fixation, vertebral intermediate place Cage, which was implantedGuyoudao1mg.Immediately after operation goats were performed X-ray examination;12weeks and24weeks after operation were performed radiology X-ray and CT examinationrespectively;after12weeks and24weeks, respectively,4goats were sacrificed,removedthe cervical fusion specimens,which were adopted general observation,manual blindedtesting, radiological examination, histological observation to evaluate sheep cervical spinefusion.Results:①general observation:12weeks after operation,sheep cervical fusionsegment achieved partial fusion;24weeks after operation,sheep cervical fusion segmentwas firmly fused with bone formation outside the region.②manual blinded testing:12weeks after operation, the manual test specimens of cervical fusion segment was noobvious lateral activities;24weeks after operation, the manual test specimens of cervicalfusion segment was integration and stability, without lateral activities.③radiology X-rayand CT examination showed:12weeks after operation see apparent callus formation inthe sheep vertebral intermediate;24weeks after operation see sheep cervical interbodybone connection, achieving integration requirements.④histological observation:12weeks after operation,the sheep cervical intervertebral cartilage and bone trabeculaformation, formation of woven bone, and immature callus;24weeks after operation, the sheep vertebral intermediate was seen mature mveloid tissue, mature bone trabecula andmature bone callus, achieving bone healing.Conclusion:rhBMP-2(Guyoudao) can promote the sheep cervical fusion, to achieveintegration requirements.
