Objectives Study of patients with colorectal cancer malnutrition and enteral nutrition intervention differences between before and after serum endogenous metabolites, preliminarily malnutrition in patients with colorectal cancer related mechanisms. Methods Using Ultra performance liquid chromatography quadrupole time-of-fligh mass spectrometry (UPLC-QTOFMS) technology detect the serum of20cases healthy, of20patients with colorectal cancer malnutrition and enteral nutrition after the intervention, the application of principal component analysis, orthogonal partial least squares analysis and orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis, multivariate analysis acquire scores plot and loading plot, according to the values of variable importance projection combined with nonparametric Wilcoxon-the Mann-Whitney test to find differences metabolites, by searching for the human metabolome database(HMDB) and bioinformatics database(KEGG) to identify differences in metabolites. Results The healthy controls, patients with colorectal cancer before and after the intervention of serum metabolic differences metabolites were analyzed, and get eight possible iconic metabolites, L-proline、L-camitine、Serotonin、1-Methylhistidine、 Deoxyinosine、N-Acetyl-L-tyrosine、L-Glutamic acid、5-Hydroxyindoleacetic acid. Conclusions Malnutrition in colorectal cancer patients serum metabolic differences matter involving multiple metabolic pathways, including amino acid metabolism, glycolysis, lipid metabolism, nucleic acid metabolism and intestinal flora metabolism, patients with colorectal cancer malnutrition, metabolic disorders, poor nutrition absorption and intestinal disorders. Through the UPLC-Q/TOFMS serum metabolomics research methods, identification of eight possible trademark metabolites, application of enteral nutrition support after eight kinds of trademark serum levels of metabolites are basic returned to normal, to demonstrate the effectiveness of enteral nutrition support treatment.
