PurposeThe part comparate conventional ultrasound and elastography in thediagnosis of breast nidus,it has some help in the using of the method of UEseores and area ratio method in the diagnosis of breast diseases.It improves theclinical assessment of prognosis,diagnosis and treatment of breast cancerdisease of breast ultrasound.Materials and methodsOur objects of research are the67lesions of patients who were diagnosedwith breast masses in the outpatient department of general surgery of88Hospital of PLA Hospital form Oct,2011to June,2012. The patients aged14to75years, mean age41.7±11.2years old, nidus size0.6cm×0.6cm~4.5cm×3.0cm,who had pathological results after operation.Using IU-22ultrasound diagnostic instrument, the probe frequency is6~15MHz, with the professional UE soft,the patients were examined witheonventional ultrasound and UE. The nidus were evaluated by elastic scores,which were classified into five grades,and the traced areas of the nidus weremeasured respectively on UE and conventional ultrasound. It was achieved bytwo senior doctors.All the data were evaluated using SPSS13.0software, examined byKappa.The comparison between any two means were basedχ2split-run.Inspectionlenelα=0.05, A significance difference was considered when the P value was lessthan0.05.Results1.The sensitivity、 specificity and accuracy of diagnosis with conventionalultrasound were66.67%、90.91%、74.63%. 2. The sensitivity、 specificity and accuracy of diagnosis with the method ofUE scores were62.22%、86.36%、70.15%. The sensitivity、specificity、accuracyof diagnosis with area ratio method were64.44%、81.81%、70.15%. Thesensitivity、specificity、accuracy of diagnosis with the method of UE scores andarea ratio method were91.11%、90.91%、91.04%.3. The sensitivity、specificity and accuracy of diagnosis with conventionalultrasound and elastography were93.33%、90.91%、92.53%.4. Among5method two comparison, inspection level calculated accordingto formulas is α=0.0045, Segmentation method for multiple comparisons byχ2.The accuracy of combine diagnosis to mammary gland malignant pathologicalchanges diagnosis is higher than conventional supersonic, the method of UEseores and area ratio method, difference was statistically significant(P≤0.05).Conelusions1. The ultrasound elastography technical operation is simple, information isreliable, the degree of hardness method of point rating and area are the elasticimage technology two different judgments, is helpful to the mammary glandnidus good malignant distinction, both unify to make the accuracy of mammarygland nidus diagnosis greatly enhance, are worth the application and spreading.2. Conventional ultrasound and ultrasound elastography technique diagnosisof benign and malignant breast nidus have a certain value, but there are somelimitations, if they are combined, so benign and malignant breast nidussignificantly improve the accuracy of judgment, in clinical applications cancomplement each other.
