Objectives:.Multiple sclerosis(MS) is an autoimmune disease which ischaracterized by demyelination of the central nervous system.Thepathogenesis is associated with environment and autoimmunity andhereditary susceptibility. As it has been knowned that IL-7and IL-2andtheir receptors play an important role in the immune response of MS, Wewould be to study the relationship between multiple sclerosis and genepolymorphism of IL-7RA and IL-2RA.Methods:We have collected70patients of MS treatmented in the FirstAffiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University and Fudan UniversityHuashan Hospital and210cases healthy controls from2007to2010.Gene polymorphism of IL-7RA and IL-2RA of the MS group and controlgroup were screened by the polymerase reaction(PCR) combined withrestriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP) and sequencing. Results: There was no significant statistical difference(P>0.05)betweenthe MS group and the control group by analysis the Genotype and allelefrequencies of both rs6897932in IL-7RA and rs2104286, rs12722489inIL-2RA.Comparsion groups by gender, there also no significant statisticaldifference(P>0.05)between the MS group and the control group byanalysis the Genotype and allele frequencies of both rs6897932in IL-7RA and rs2104286, rs12722489in IL-2RA.Conclusions:There was no obvious association between MS and thegenotype and allele frequencies of both rs6897932in IL-7RA andrs2104286, rs12722489in IL-2RA. |
