| Objective Investigated the expression of microRNA-218in the clear cell renalcarcinoma and its clinical significance.Methods From2012.03to2013.05, A total of46pathological diagnosedccRcc tissues and control tissues with adjacent nomal tissues were collected in firstaffiliated hospital of henan scientific and technical university. The ccRcc tissue, askonw Fuhrman was divided into third-level: â… level (n=12), â…¡ level (n=14), â…¢ level(n=20). The pathology of clinical,the TNM stage method were divided into fourgroups,includingâ… level (n=21),â…¡level (n=13),â…¢level (n=8),â…£level(n=4). In theseexamples included14lymphatic metastasis and32lymphatic node metastasis.Agedfrom28to80years (average53.6years), included31males and15females.Allpatients were not in the preoperative radiotherapy or chemotherapy. The expression ofmicroRNA-218was detected in the ccRcc tissue and adjacent normal tissue byquantitative real-time PCR. The clinical data were collected and analyzed by SPSS17.0statistical software. P<0.05indicated significant difference.Results Compare with the control tissues,microRNA-218was reducedsignifcantly in the ccRCC tissues (P<0.05), had statistical significance. Moreover, lowmicroRNA-218was associated with later stages, metastasis, and differentiated.Theexpression level of microRNA-218in poorly differentiated ccRCC was significantlyreduced as compared with well/moderately differentiated ccRCC (P<0.05). Theexpression evel of microRNA-218in clinical stages â…¢/â…£ ccRCC was lower than thatin clinical stages â… /â…¡ ccRCC (P<0.05).Moreover, the expression level of microRNA-218in ccRCC patients with lymphatic node metastasis was significantly lower thanthat in ccRCC patients without lymphatic node metastasis (P<0.05).However,expressof microRNA-218with the patient’s age and gender, tumor metastasis, tumor grade,hadn’t statistical significance.Conclusions MicroRNA-218was low express in the tissues of ccRCC.microRNA-218was deregulated in the ccRCC tissue and strongly correlated to ccRCCstage, tumor grade, tumor metastasis.,it may be used as a potential therapeutic targetin patients with RCC in future. |
