Effect Of Serum CEA Level EGFR Mutation Status On Chemotherapy Efficacy Of No-smokers Advanced Lung Adenocarcinoma

Objective: To assess the effect of serum CEA level before chemotherapy andEGFR mutations status on prior chemotherapy efficiency of no-smokers withAdvanced Lung Adenocarcinoma.Method: The clinical data, serum CEA levelbefore chemotherapy, EGFR mutations status and chemotherapy efficiency of43cases no-smokers with Advanced Lung Adenocarcinoma who were treated withThe combination of paclitaxel and cisplatin or pemetrexed and cisplatin werecollected. To analyze the relationships between serum CEA levelbefore chemotherapy, EGFR mutations status and clinical data, priorchemotherapy efficiency as well as the relationship between serum CEA levelbefore chemotherapy,EGFR mutations status.Result: Gender,degree of differentiation, metastases is related to EGFR mutations status amongno-smokers with Advanced Lung Adenocarcinoma. Female,poor differentiation or undifferentiated, metastases patients hold high EGFRmutations rate. degree of differentiation, metastases is related to CEA positiverate, poor differentiation or undifferentiated, metastases patients hold high CEApositive rate. Total DCR among no-smokers with Advanced LungAdenocarcinoma who received fist-line chemotherapy was76.7%.DCR in EGFRmutations group is higher than which in EGFR wild-type group（87.5%vs45.5%,p<0.05）.DCR in CEA positive group is higher than which in CEA negativegroup,（89.6%vs50.0%,p<0.05）.There was a close correlation between CEApositive rate and EGFR mutations rate.Cnclusion: patients with EGFR mutationamong no-smokers with Advanced Lung Adenocarcinoma are not only sensitive toTKI but also to chemotherapy. hence chemotherapy could be taken as a effectivemethod in clinical treatment.patients CEA positive hold a better chemotherapyefficiency. EGFR mutation rate is related to positive rate, CEA positive patientshold high EGFR mutation rates.
