Objective: Application of magnetic resonance diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) inhealthy volunteers and patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) every period ofkidney were observed and measured, the research of the application of magneticresonance diffusion tensor imaging in chronic kidney disease (CKD),analysis tochange ADC value and FA value of kidney cortex and medulla with patientschronic kidney disease (CKD),to analyze its correlation with renal function indexesand staging of chronic kidney disease (CKD).To investigate the value of DTI inchronic kidney disease.Materials and methods:To collect the first affiliated hospital of nanchanguniversity of42patients with chronic kidney disease admitted in renal medicine, measurement of serum creatinine level(Scr),according to the modification of diet inrenal disease (MDRD) equation to calculate estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR),and according to the eGFR determine stage of CKD.Collect20cases ofnormal volunteers as control group.In1.5T MRI equipment upward MRI diffusiontensor imaging (b=0,600s/mm2),measuring ADC value and FA value of kidneycortex and medulla, then medullary fiber tractography was conducted. To comparemean ADC value and FA value in kidney cortex and medullary with Control group, and compares the control group patients with different stages of chronic kidneydisease (CKD) between the cortex and medullary ADC value and FA valuedifferences, drawing ROC curve, comparison of ADC values of renal cortex andmedulla FA value differential control and diagnostic performance of different stagesin patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD),analysis of ADC values of renalcortex and medulla FA values and serum creatinine (Scr), estimated glomerularfiltration rate (eGFR) and the correlation between chronic kidney disease stage. Results:Normal volunteers and patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD)double kidney ADC value and FA value of cortex and medulla, there were nostatistical significance (P>0.05).ADC values were higher than in medulla of therenal cortex constituting the ADC values, between groups of renal medulla FA values were higher than in the renal cortex FA.Single factor analysis of variance shows thatthe control group, mild chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the relation betweenchronic kidney disease (CKD) between renal medulla ADC values and FA valueswere statistical differences. Two of the two comparison shows ADC values of renalcortex and medulla FA values clear difference between the two groups.Renal medulladiffusion tensor imaging tracer shows renal medullary fiber beam radiated structurepoint from the renal hilum renal cortex. Conclusions:Magnetic resonance diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) can be out ofthe water molecular diffusion isotropic and anisotropic showed renal physiologycharacteristic, and can reflect the change in the pathophysiology of chronic kidneydisease.Kidney ADC values can be the kidney in patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD) water molecules diffusion degree different degree reducing, renal medulla FAvalue can reflect the chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients with renal medulla in theinland waters of molecular diffusion anisotropy reduce to varying degrees, thediagnosis of chronic kidney disease (CKD),and the identification of different stagehas certain diagnostic performance.
