Objective: To explore the diagnosis of256-Slice Spiral CT Angiography incerebrovascular disease, and evaluate its diagnostic value in cerebrovascular disease.Method: Collected the CTA examination data of112hospitalized patients withcerebrovascular disease, which have been done the cerebrovascular CTA examination inthe Affiliated Hospital of Yan’an University from May2012to October2013. Toevaluate the reliability about CTA diagnosing the cerebrovascular disease by analyzingthe types and characteristics of cerebrovascular disease, as well as the cross-checkanalysis the aneurysm patients’CTA examination results comparative with DSA and thesurgical operation.Result:(1) CTA detected76aneurysms in the68patients. There was one patienthaving3aneurysms,6patients having2aneurysms, and the others having an aneurysm. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy value of CTA in detecting aneurysm on aper-patient basis were95%、100%、95.1%. Regarding the maximum of each aneurysm, there was excellent correlation between CTA and DSA(p>0.05).(2) There were37patients having the intracranial vascular stenosis or occlusion, and54cases werestraitness, including3cases of mild stenosis (5.6%),12cases of moderate stenosis(22.2%),23cases of severe stenosis (42.6%), and16cases of occlusion (29.6%).According to the narrow distribution statistics, there were27cases in internal carotidartery,10cases in middle cerebral artery,9cases in vertebral basilar artery,4cases in theanterior cerebral artery,3cases in posterior cerebral artery and1case in superior sagittalsinus thrombosis.(3) There were4patients of intracranial vascular malformation,including2cases of arteriovenous malformation and2cases of cavernous angiomas. There were3cases of moyamoya disease. Conclusion:(1) CTA has high sensitivity, specificity and accuracy in diagnosis ofintracranial aneurysms, can be used as screening in suspected aneurysm patients.(2) Thediagnostic capabilities of DSA is better than CTA for small aneurysms near the base ofthe skull, small aneurysms may have missed by CTA.(3) CTA has diagnostic value forcerebrovascular disease, such as intracranial vascular stenosis or occlusion, vascularmalformations and moyamoya disease et al.
