| Objective Analysis the creative effect and discuss the prognosis and treatment experience with hepatoblastoma.Methods Retrospect analyse clinical data of20children with hepatoblastoma who have treated between2001-2011for10years. The data were analyzed with Kaplan-Meier test.Result The follow-up dration averaged39months (range1-114months). Fourteen survived free of events,4died,2lost. Nineteen cases received surgical treatment,1cases done no surgery. Fourteen cases had regular chemotherapy and6cases were not. The2-years survival rate was83.33%, and5-years survival rate was76.84%. Kaplan-Meier tests showed that the age, Pathological type, whether the tumor is radical resection and reduction of AFP to normal level in the2months postoperatively are the single prognostic factors for hepatoblastoma. But sexuality, tumour stage, chemotherapy before operation are not the single prognostic factors for hepatoblastoma.Conclusions1、The age,pathological type, tumor radical resection and reduction of AFP to normal level in the2months postoperatively are the factors that might impact HB prognosis. The older children epithelial type and the people who have radical tumor recection and AFP returned to normal after2months have a longer survival time.2、Under the level of technology of our department at, combination with chemotherapy and radical surgery in children can be better treatment. |
