Expression Of Sorcin In Neo-adjuvant Chemotherapy Of Breast Cancer And Its Clinical Significance

objective:To observe the expressions of sorcin before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer patients, and to disscuss the relation with chemotherapy.methods:Twenty-two cases of breast cancer were diagnosed by core biopsies before neoadjuvant chemotherapy, All patients were treated with TE regimen for four cycles, and evalute the efficiency. The expressions of sorcin in breast cancer were measured by immunohistochemistry before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy, The relationship between sorcin expression and the efficiency of neoadjuvant chemotherapy were analysed by statistics.results:1. In twenty-two cases of breast cancer treated with TE regimen for four cycles, RR, the response rate, was72.7%;2. The high expression rate of sorcin was63.6%(14/22) before neoadjuvant chemotherapy,31.8%(7/22) after neoadjuvant chemotherapy, The expression rate was higher before neoadjuvant chemotherapy than after neoadjuvant chemotherapy;3. No matter before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy, the clinical remission rate was significantly higher in low expression group than in high expression group, after processing by the chi-square test statistically, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).conclusions:The expressions level of sorcin in breast cancer can predict the efficiency of TE regimen in neoadjuvant chemotherapy, sorcin might offere a new target for the diagnosises and therapies of neoplastic muldrug resistance.
