Objective:To investigate the distribution characteristic and drug resistance of Klebsiella pneumoniae isolated in our hospitals, and to provide important reference for the treatment of bacteria infections. To detect and analyze the efflux pump gene from clinical isolated strains of Multi-drug resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae in our hospital. Methods:A total of123strains of Klebsiella pneumoniae were seperated between Nov2010to August2011as well as their drug-resistance were analyzed retrospectively. Vitek-32automatic microbial analyzer was applied to species identification and Disc diffusion test(K-B method)was employed to judge antimicrobial sensitivity. Polymerase chain reaction(PCR)was applied to detect efflux pump genes oqxA、oqxB、emrD. tehA qepA、mdfA and disinfectant-resistant gene qacE1△-sull in30strains of Multi-drug resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae.Results:①The ratio of Klebsiella pneumoniae separated in ICU and department of respiratory were the highest (12.20%).Infection location was focused on respiratory tract. The drug resistance rate of Klebsiella pneumoniae to carbopenems was lowest.②About42strains of ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae were found among123clinical isolated strains. The drug resistance rates of ESBLs-producing strains were significant higher than those of the non-ESBLs-producing ones. Among the123strains,2showed resistant to Imipenem, which both isolated from Intensive Care Unit.③Efflux gump genes oqxA、oqxB、emrD、tehA and mdfA were checked out among30strains of multi-drug resistance Klebsiella pneumoniae, and most of the efflux pump genes have a higher detection rate, qepA gene was not checked out.④More than3efflux pump genes were checked out simultaneously on28strains of multi-drug resistance Klebsiella pneumonie, which account for93.33%.The positive rates of qacE△1-sull between the multi-drug resistant strains and the sensitive strains has significant difference. Conclusions:The main pathway of the infection of K.pneumoniae in our hospital was Respiratory tract, the monitor of bacteria in the air is clinically necessary. ESBLs-producing K.pneumoniae were resistant to P-lactamases and most were multi-resistance, Carbapenems were the first choice for infection with klebsiella pneumoniae. Excretion pump genes are mostly found in MDR-KPN and the rates of efflux pump gene were higher.
