Objective Explore the factors which the development of bladder tumor after upperurinary tract urothelial carcinoma, to provide guidance for clinical diagnosis, treatment andfollow-up.Methods Retrospective analysis112cases of upper urinary tract urothelialcarcinoma from the Ningxia Medical University General Hospital Department of Urology,followed up for6months--10years, bladder tumor recurrence were recorded, grouped inaccordance with the factors, including age, sex, with or without hematuria, with or withoutlow back pain, tumor location, tumor size, tumor number, pathologic stage, histologic grade,surgical approach, whether postoperative bladder perfusion, made the univariate analysis andmultivariate analysis, to understand the impact of various factors on postoperative bladdertumor.Results In112patients,31cases have occurred of bladder tumor in the follow-upperiod, incidence rate was27.7%. Univariate analysis for each group, tumor size, ureteralcancer segments, tumor stage, histological grade (1973classification), whether postoperativebladder perfusion were statistically significant to postoperative bladder tumor. Multivariateregression analysis showed that, tumor size, pathological stage, postoperative whetherperfusion were important factors to affect the postoperative bladder tumor.Conclusions There are many influencing factors about the development of bladdertumor after upper urinary tract urothelial carcinoma, various factors are independent of each other and influence each other. Among them, tumor size, pathologic stage, the postoperativewhether perfusion is the most important factors. In clinical practice, we should follow-upfocus on the patients who with many risk factors after surgery.
