Study On The Position Change Of Mandible In Osahs Patients Cured By Self-Adjustable Oral Appliances

Objective: To provide a theoretic reference for mandibular positioning in the treatment of OSAHS with the mandibular advancement devices.Methods: Thirty-two OSAHS patients detected to be valid by polysomnography were selected as research subjects. Cephalometric analysis was carried out to compare theposition changes of mandibular in original position,physician experience position and patient self-adjustable position respectively.Results: There is significant difference between physician experience position and patient self-adjustable position except S-Ar-Go and H-MP （P＜0.05）.Conclusion: The great difference between two positions(physician experience position and patient self-adjustable position) may provide an individualized mandibularposition for the treatment of mandibular advancement devices。...
