R. reflexes Ker var. reflexes is belong to Bramble(Rubus L)of Rosaceae class, which could remove blood stasisand and converge. It is antibacterial, anti phlogistic, relieving the gastric disorder , regulating qi acetanilide, scattering poison vitality and kidney. It is also useful to rheumatism and effective to strengthen bones and muscles. Bramble(Rubus L.)as medicinal plants have very long medicinal history, R. reflexes Ker var. reflexes often as a protecting liver and stocking to purge fire hakka medicine in south region of fujian. This genus mostly for the traditional medicinal plants,it has good folk medicine foundation. The chemical compounds and pharmaceutical activity of the R. reflexes Ker var. reflexes has not known now, therefor we worked on this field to understand its main chemical compositions and pharmacological effects, and to clarify the pharmacodynamic foundation, which will has important scientific significance for promoting its further research and development, extending its medicinal function, and increasing resource of protecting liver drugs. The Chemical compounds in the root and stem of the R. reflexes Ker var. reflexes were extracted with water and alcohol. The ear edema inflammation model of mouse was adopted to study on anti-inflammation activity of the extractions. Experimental results indicated that petroleum part from ethanol-extraction is the activity part.Using polarity grading extraction method to separate the ethanol-extraction part, and then got five compounds from the petroleum part by high-speed counter-current chromatography and high performance liquid chromatographic methods. The UV, IR, NMR, were applied to identify for structure, these compounds are in follow respectively:(1)2,4,7,9-tetramethyl-5-decyne-4,7-diol;(2)Linolic acid;(3)cis-15-tetracosenoic acid;(4)trans-4-isopropylcyclohexanecarboxylic acid;(5)ethyl cis-9-octadecenoate...
