Due to the process of agricultural modernization and the huge gap between domestic and foreign models, the demand for the performance of the combine has been continuously improved, and the improvement of the combine is imperative. At present, electronic technology application level and the degree of automation of domestic models are still very low. The workers need to adjust the working parts and the mechanical structure according to the experience, and the process is complicated and dangerous. In this thesis, a multi-functional and integrated operation handle control device of combine harvester is designed, and the workers can achieve the purpose of controlling the operating components by operating the handle and the keys. Thus, the labor intensity of the workers is reduced, and the safety of the operation is improved, and the operation mode of the combined harvester is of great significance.By analyzing the disadvantages of the traditional control mode of combine harvester, the thesis selects the header, the reel, the granary, the louver sieve and the speed control as objects. The thesis reforms the levers and the mechanical structure of the working parts, and designs the circuit based on the embedded ARM S3C2440 A processor as the hardware platform of control device, and develops program based on the Linux operating system as the software platform of control device. The device selects the self-reset keys and self-lock dial buttons to control actuator, and the self-reset keys have long press and short press to achieve the different control effect of the relevant parts. For the system keys are numerous, in order to save hardware and software resources, the thesis designs the keys hardware interface methods and proposes the key driver design method based on finite state machine(FSM). In order to improve the intelligent level of the control device, the system designs three function modes: safety closed mode, normal operation mode and real-time operation mode.After design the software and hardware of the device, the experiment was carried out to verify the reliability and stability of each function mode in the control process. By the experiment of the installation of the control device and the experiment in the field, it is concluded that the error of the the header height、the reel height and the the louver sieve angle is lower than 4%、1%、2%, and the barn alarm can work timely and effectively. The experimental results show that the operating handle control device can meet the expected requirements of the control effect, and it’s stable and reliable, and the operating handle control device provides technical support for the automation control of the combine harvester.
