| Equine influenza is an acute contagious respiratory infectious disease which is caused by infectious of Equine influenza virus.In recent years, EI is a global epidemic, only two islandsout of this disease.At the same time, China also cannot avoid EI. We had suffered four timesEI, with the horse industry in China gradually develop and grow, when the EI outbreak in China, the horse industry will be seriously impact.Through the collection of a diseased horse and subsequent virus isolation, virus nucleic acid extraction, RT-PCRand a series of molecular biology techniques, ultimately we sequenced the virus nucleic acid.The H3N8 subtype of equine influenza virus was obtained by sequencing and NCBI comparison analysis.The strain compared with A/equine/Jilin/1/1989(H3N8)ã€A/equine/Kentucky/1/02(H3N8) and(Florida subtype) and A/equine/Argentine/77(H3N8)(Argentine subtype), and the highest homology was found between the strain and the Florida-2subtype.According to the nomenclature of the equine influenza virus, we named the virus A/equine/Heilongjiang/1/2010(H3N8). The Heilongjiang strain, which has been isolated from this research, has enriched the resource base of the influenza virus in China. It also provided an important basis for the study of the epidemiology of equine influenza in our country.In order to prevent the other lineage infect in China, we recovereda strain A/equine/Donegal/1/2009(H3N8).After a serious of experiments, we recognized the biological characteristics of this strain. |
