The sika deer, as one of the three treasures in northeast of China, the whole body of it is full of treasures, and different parts have different medicinal and edible value. With the development of deer farming, the proportion of diarrhea increased in sika deer disease, and the long-term use of antibiotics can easily lead to resistance and antibiotic residues. Due to some low-antibiotics and no-antibiotics products are welcomed, egg yolk antibody as a cheap, efficient and easy to get exogenous specific antibody can be used partly as a substitute of antibiotics. However, in production practice, the result is not stable or even has side effects due to lack of refining.In 2015, one sika deer farm in Shuangyang District Jilin province happened a kind of acute infectious disease suddenly, whose main clinical symptoms were acute diarrhea, loose bowels, and some deer died before the use of medicine. In order to effectively control the occurrence of the disease, according to the combination of the literature review and clinical symptoms, the analysis and judgment of the cause and control measures of the diarrhea have been made. Combined with the isolated pathogens, Gram staining, physiological and biochemical reaction and PCR detection, the disease was diagnosed as diarrhea caused by Escherichia coli for sika deer. Isolate and cultivate the pathogenic Escherichia coli of diarrhea contents of sika deer, add aluminum hydroxide gel of preparing immunogen after inactivating formaldehyde, and use 2 x 10~9CFU/m L amount of immune three times. After the first immunization, 25 days later, the antibody titer can reach 1:128 and can last for 75 days to prepare liquid and freeze dried egg yolk antibody. The egg yolk antibody which passed the safety test and the specificity test is free from the bacterial contamination and equips the feature of biological safety. What’s more it can be used together with the specificity of E.coli to inactivate the E.coli. This experiment provides the basis for effective prevention and treatment of sika deer’s diarrhea caused by Escherichia coli.
