Cotton is an important economic crop and strategic materials,15% of the revenue of the xinjiang uygur autonomous region comes from the cotton and its related industries.Over the years, the white pollution is also growing. According to the survey of the xinjiang agricultural environment monitoring department, Xinjiang has become the largest membrane pollution area in our country. The purpose of this study was finding out the way to solve the white pollution, therefore,we has carried out the following test: First is to carry out the bare land cultivation experiment and different periods to film uncovering, second is to carry out the biological membrane degradation characteristic test, third is to select biodegradable film.In different period of film uncovering and bare land cultivation experiment,we found that the bare land cultivation of cotton fiber quality, production is affected, the bare land cultivation production 179.2 Kg/667m2,the cultivating output reached 350 Kg/667m2, bare land cultivation than cultivating yield decreased by 48.8%. we found that in different periods of film uncovering period will impact on cotton yield and soil physical and chemical properties. But if move the membrane in during flowering, there is little impact on soil moisture and yield. Uncovering the film during the blooming period will not reduce production, but also will slightly increase production; film uncovering can reduce soil salt content between 0 to 40 cm under the mask. From this test we can boldly assume, the suitable degradation of biodegradable film is the period of flowering. In the biodegradable film experiment, we used three kinds of new biodegradable films. Film mulch A,Film mulch B, Film mulch C and ordinary film(PE) by contrast. Based on experiments,we found that the degradation of membrane rupture induction period > 60 days, the influence on cotton growth period could be gradually reduced. On July 1st, which is from the beginning of the flowering, the soil temperature under biodegradable film and common film tends to be the same, the ascension of soil moisture in biodegradable membrane is not obvious. This study also found that the degradation of biodegradable film rate is higher, the output of cotton is lower; the higher the membrane degradation rate is,the less the membrane rupture induction period. The most productive biodegradable film C film yield decreased by 21.79% compared with the ordinary film. This study argues that the suitable period of biodegradable film degradation can effectively improve the cotton yield, while the suitable period is flowering phase.
