Based on anecdotal references, the reproductive characterizations of Oratosquilla oratoria were listed as follows:1. The impact of water temperature and body weight on the concentration of estradiol(E2) and progesterone(P) in the ovary of O. oratoria was detected by the method of enzyme linked immunosorbent assay technique(ELISA).5 ℃, 15 ℃, 25 ℃, 30 ℃4 experimental groups were set, the effect of temperature on the concentration of estradiol and progesterone was significant, the highest content of E2 was 0.957ng/g at 25 ℃when the ovaries was in the stages of mature oocyte stage; primary oocyte stage development that is the lowest content of 0.434 ng/g at 5 ℃when the ovaries was in the stages of primary oocyte stage. The content of P was not significantly different between 5 and 25 ℃ ℃. Its highest value at 30 by a content of 1.062 ng/g, meanwhile the content of ℃ E2 was relatively low at 0.626ng/g.Different body weight was set as 10.0 ± 1.5 g, 20.0 ± 1.5 g, 30 ± 1.5 g, the results show that the content of E2 had significant positive correlations with body weight except the 20.0 ± 1.5 g groups through multiple comparisons. The lowest content of E2 was 0.431 ng / g at 10 ± 1.5 g groups, the content of E2 was 0.456 ng / g, at 20 ± 1.5 g, the highest content of E2 was 0.555 ng / g in 30 ± 1.5 g groups.2. Morphological and structural characterization of the androgenic gland in O. oratoria was preliminarily studied.Under dissecting microscope, the androgenic gland was pair and white by the size of approximate 5-10mm3, located at the base of the third pereopod and embodied between the muscles and hepatopancreas, the androgenic gland was adjunct to the vas deferens through the organic membrane. The use of histological and transmission electron microscope, the development of androgenic gland was divided into Proliferative, synthetic and secretory stages.Glandular cells of proliferative stages were basophilic, the glandular cluster was obvious; Glandular cells of synthetic stages were weakly basophilic glandular cells was proliferate and uniform in size, and the nuclei were regularly arranged in the periphery, the nucleolus was 1-3; Glandular cells of the pre secretory stages were dark stained and heavily basophilic, with less cytoplasm and pyknotic nuclei in the center; The number glandular cells in post-secreting gland was reducing, and there were large numbers of follicles. Androgenic gland is a holocrine gland.
